I used to love taking black and white photos.
The image is so sharp that it speaks to you.
As long as the large construction companies want large profits, then these large apartment complex will continue to be built, regardless of the increasingly decreasing population. Even if the citizens are purchasing apartments for real estate investments, there is a point where there are simply too many apartments for the number of people.
Eventually there will have to be changes to this profit seeking business.
I saw a 3rd grade boy pass a note to a girl student in English class today.
It was such a sweet, childish gesture and made me smile to remember my own elementary days.
I love eating these leaves but I enjoy taking pictures of it more than eating it.
The color and texture are so beautiful.
Every day when I walk towards my apartment after school, I wait for the day that the walls will be up on this house and my view/wind/air will be destroyed.
When I first came to Korea, window displays like this did not exist.
The country was more conservative then.
It is slowly, but surely, becoming more of an "open" society with all the ills that come with that. But because this is a foreign company, the store can blame the display idea on the international company even though it goes against what an average Korean store would display. Sometimes being conservative is a good thing.
I started my one mile morning walks again, yay!
I love how Korean cities leave enough trees in the busy areas so people can walk through a wooded area. Office workers and teachers get their daily exercise through the woods during their lunchtime. Our school doesn't allow some teachers to leave the campus. Some of the male teachers can leave without permission and do so daily.
Anyway I am just happy to start walking again.
Extremely moody 3rd grade girl.
Sometimes I wish I could help them with their personal issues. She is too young to have extreme mood swings like this. She should be as light-hearted as the other children.
A 4th grade homeroom teacher gave this to me after he saw me taking a picture of the package.
I prefer the salted kind but these sweet ones are okay, too.
It is very interesting to see so many formerly foreign snacks in Korea.
Whenever I am stressed about life, I blow bubble to release the stress.
Bubbles float freely until their time is up and they just pop!
I went to Daiso two nights ago and picked up three bubble bottles so I can share the bubble therapy with my kiddies. Grade 5 and 6 have lunch during my usual lunchtime. So we had lots of fun blowing bubbles. The boys had more fun kicking and punching the bubbles.
I absolutely love this green color on my dream SUV.❤️ I still want to live on a farm near a running body of water.🙏🏿 But I want to use this car to visit the city and pick up supplies.🚗🚘
