Take me out to the ballgame!

A few foreigners and I met up in Gwangju to take in a baseball game at the local stadium. It was cool to see how enthusiastic the crowd was. Even though it rained we enjoyed every pitch and homeroom. I think the Kia Tigers won, not really sure. I cheered every time a foreigner came up to bat regardless of the team.
Go waygooksi!

Take me out to the ballgame!

Peppero Day 11/11

Today is November 11th. 11/11. Peppero day in South Korea.
That is the day that our students eat (and share) these delicious chocolate sticks. Last year I only received one box and a few individual sticks. But THIS YEAR...!!

Woooohooooo!!!  I received 8 boxes from my kiddies!! Happy dance!!

The key to my heart...

Ok, so as you know, my school does not trust me with a key to the computer room, where my small office is. I guess they are worried, I will break into the school in the middle of the night and slowly drag all the school's computers back to my 2 room apartment, where they will NEVER find them.  So I carry my own personal "key" to enter the computer room everyday.

This is the "key" that I use to open the computer room every day.

This is the key that a homeroom teacher left inside the lock of the computer room for several hours.

This is the “key” I continue to use every morning to enter the computer room.
