I went to visit Seoul and stayed with my chingoo, Melissa, a couple of weekends ago. M is leaving next month to go back home after living abroad for more than 15 years. I met her over a year ago on a tour group trip to Namhae beach. She is a good person and an amazing artist. She teaches art at an international school in Seoul. Agnes came over, M made caramel popcorn from scratch and we watched movies. We also had front row seats to Seoul's annual Lantern Festival. It was great to laugh with friends and have a great relaxing time. M is the perfect host. I was happy to make the trip to say good-bye to her before the next step in her life.
