In South Korea a patient is allowed to travel within and nearby the hospital, as long as they carry their phones to be easily reached. I have seen patients hooked to an IV pole, smoking outside hospitals.
Today was my FIRST time visiting a convenience store with an IV pole. Ha ha!!
Unique experiences happen in expat life sometimes.
