There is still active racism in South Korea.
My friend, a Black African, is actively being denied housing simply because he is African.
There are landlords, and employers, in South Korea today who explicitly state in advertisements NO AFRICANS.
So people who WANT to work, and need housing to work in a specific town, are denied both opportunities.
Don't let the KDrama and KPop fool you.
