Using tax money to improve the city

In Korea the city uses the tax money from the citizens to actually fix the city.

Wow!

This is the way it SHOULD work.

Bagel, anyone?

This is the best bagel shop in my city, quaint Gwangyang-si.

A barely age 30 Korean business man works this bagel shop by himself.

The bagels are delicious and go VERY FAST. He opens at 8am and the bagels (unless pre-ordered) are gone by 8:15. He also closes on Wednesday. I know because we rode our bikes there this past Wednesday and were greeted with closed doors.

Eye-catching

Funny statues in my quaint little city.

Up yours! ha ha!

Sometimes this is exactly how you feel!!😅

Block our view with your house, Sir.

Sooooo the landlord, of these two 4 story apartment buildings, is about to block our beautiful view of the sunset.

He is building a 2 story customized house right where there used to be a small farmland, outside our bedroom window.

It should be up in about 7 minutes in Korea's construction time.

I will keep posting until it OFFICIALLY blocks the sunset and they move in.😬😬

10 year Sewol ferry anniversary

April 2024

It has been ten years, this week since the children/students passed away on the ferry, in the school field trip. One of the saddest moments in Korean history.

I arrived at Incheon airport, for the first time in my life, and saw an upside down ferry on EVERY MONITOR in the airport.

As a parent myself, I cannot even imagine the pain of a parent sending their precious child on a school field trip and they never return.

God please continue to give strength to these parents and family.

Emerald green Genesis SUV

I have fallen in love.

It doesn't happen often or easily but when it does, it happens sooooo hard.

I don't know if this car company is interested in a non-buying car consumer but...this car sweeps me off my feet🥰 swoooooon!!
