After years of having to wear masculine clothes every damn day...
I was finally able to buy "big" clothes from Itaewon, a foreigner area in Korea.

Masked up for polluted air - yup, I live in China now.

The pollution is SO BAD right now. 
You gotta stay masked up daily, no joking around. 
My glasses get steamed up.  
Yes, I look ridiculous but it is mandatory for breathing in South Korea at the moment.
The government sends out daily warnings of the various levels of air danger. People are getting rashes, headaches, sore throats and even worse medical conditions.
I would've never thought bad air would drive me out of this country. 
I neglected to wear my mask this morning and am fighting off a headache. 

Cafeteria food - five years later

After five years here, I swear this food is normal to me now. Squid, octopus? Sure, no problem!
Funny. You can really get used to anything.

Dogmeat in Vietnam - Oh my goodness

I finally saw dogmeat while riding a scooter in Vietnam. It is commonly eaten here in Asia. I jumped off the scooter to take a picture of the meat and the market women, too. 
It was tough to look at but, hey, every country has its own cuisine, right?

I guess it is the same as another country eating beef, alligator, chicken or cat. It was hard to look at, though. 

Itaewon dreams - sell that book, girl!

My second book sales event at I Art Seoul art gallery. 
The ladies are always nice and friendly. 
It was a great experience, again. 

I spent 25,000 won for the table. 
I spent 100,000 won on transportation and food.
Guess how many books I wrote?
Just a wild guess...

two.....two lonely books...LOL
Well, at least I was able to buy dresses that fit me. 
So THAT is priceless.  

How does an English teacher NOT speak English????

Just had a meeting with two of my three new co teachers. Ummmm....two of them do NOT speak a lick of Englishee. Not one lick. Heck, even some of my students speak better English. 
How da f@ck did they get selected to teach this class this school year? Did they draw the short end of the stick? I'm guessing so. UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
