Constant construction but low population

There is constant construction going on in Korea.

This activity feeds the construction industry and everything that is connected to it.

So despite the fast decreasing population, the construction industry is in strong defiance of the statistics.

It will be interesting to see how this industry will look in ten years when there will be such a lack of population, it will be impossible to ignore.

Sadly.

Pepper picking season

Pepper picking season!

Gorgeous, bright red peppers!

Korean afterpass dinner

Korean Barbie and I went to dinner after Ann's funeral.

It was bittersweet.

Peach season! 2024

Tasty peach season!

This shows the soft and hard peaches of this season.

Korean chitlins

We overpaid $24.99 for some nasty @ss, uncooked Korean chitlins in Gwangju last week.

If I would've known how expensive it was, I would have NEVER ordered it.

We ended up taking it home so my husband could make it into a stew.

I still refuse to eat it.

Naw, son. You can't be eating just any damn thing, fa sure.

Beacheeeee August 11th, 2024

I was FINALLY able to make it to a beach in a car, without having to stress out over all the transportation and planning details. Going to the beach by public transportation is extremely stressful.

So it felt good to just sit in a car, stare out the window and then step out onto the beach. Sometimes being a natural planner is a punishment indeed.

The beach was fun, restful and sunny. A fun, well-deserved day at the sea.
