Sleep sock gang

Finally being able to meet and eat with the organizing crew was so fun. I bought water bottles and socks for everyone. I also bought shea butter and honey for everyone as a small token of appreciation.

Young entrepreneurs

A homeroom teacher tasked her students to create an image of their own storefront as adult entrepreneurs. It is such a great project. I love it! Look how creative they were.

Life size rat! But why is he playing with a little boy and surrounded by turd?

I saw this at a rest stop between big cities. At first I thought it was a big rat with turd. Like, why would someone make such a statue. Then I looked closer and it is a big squirrel with chestnuts. 

Come on now!

Look at the dark picture in shadows, with a back lit sun. It looks like two big @ss rats surrounded by turd and a little boy. Ha ha!

We visited Happy Home restaurant recently in Itaewon. It is a Nigerian restaurant that has good traditional west African food. 

Yum! Hit it up if you are ever in that area. 

In love with golden hues

 

I've fallen in love many times since moving to Korea.

The wide open sky has seduced me with her arms to embrace me. 

The rising and setting sun has allowed me to gaze on priceless beauty daily.

Lion Teacher?

 

One of the 5th grade boys took one look at me and called me, "Lion Teacher".

My hairy hat reminds him of a majestic lion.

I choose to take it as a compliment.
