Jeju dreams - gorgeous memories 2016

It was a 4 hour ferry ride to Jeju. Two buses (94 foreigners). Even though it was cloudy and sometimes rainy for most of the time, I was determined to look at the bright side. Jeju is beautiful and I love enjoying beautiful places and moments. It is easy to dance in the rain in such a heavenly place.

Jeju dreams - eating Black pig

The Black pig is famous in Jeju. The history says back in the day the locals used to make the pig eat its own poo and that is what made it so delicious. Nowadays, the Black pig does not eat its own poo but is still very delicious. Mmmmmmmm... I found a restaurant a few blocks from my house that serves it and will go there a few times before I leave Korea.

Rain on me

Today is a national holiday in Korea. It is warm and rainy.  I love taking pictures of raindrops. They seem as magical as snowflakes to me. Rain always makes me want to make hot cocoa, snuggle up with my teddy bear and watch my favorite movies. I will pamper myself today with writing, reading and a cute manicure...and then snuggle up with my teddy bear to watch movies.

 

"Eat the cake, Anna Mae."

That GTFOH moment at a busy bus terminal when I am walking out the women's bathroom as a Korean woman is walking in. She looks at me, pauses, then looks at the bathroom sign to MAKE SURE she is not accidentally walking into the men's bathroom. Honestly, at that moment I wanted to turn into a man - Ike Turner- so I could calmly say, "Eat the cake, Anna Mae" before elbowing that b@tch in her throat. 

Oh, Korea...you know enuff to think I am a man but you don't know enuff to WASH YOUR NASTY HANDS after using the toilet, huh?

Dude, you almost got me arrested for five dollars?

That CSI Korea moment when you are in a clothing store with a foreigner acquaintance. After you pay for your purchase, he walks out after you with a stolen $5 dollar cap on his head, putting BOTH of you in danger of being arrested, fired and deported. You confront him about the shoplifting and he denies it-says he paid- then updates his fb profile pic with the stolen cap. SMH.

There are some batshit crazy foreigners here.

I am choosing to find the humor in these crazy @ss moments! LOL.
